In 2002, we launched the Secoroc COP 64 Gold - the most productive 6'' DTH hammer ever. We followed that up in 2004 with the Secoroc COP 54 Gold - for those who wanted the same performance in a smaller DTH hammer. Now the family is complete with the launch of the latest model - the Secoroc COP 44 Gold.
With the advent of this new DTH hammer, we can offer blast holes from 110mm up to 130mm (45/6¨ to 51/8¨) in diameter. In addition, modern high-pressure rigs can get the full benefit of drilling with Secoroc COP 44 Gold thanks its 35 bar rating.
Common features
The new Secoroc COP 44 Gold has many features in common with the rest of the range. For example, the specially designed piston for efficient energy transfer; the ingenious control tube suspension with new steel disc compression rings and new lower buffer rings; superior steel grade hammer casing providing greater impact strength and excellent wear resistance; and superb flushing capabilities that makes blast hole drilling a pleasure.
In fact, no other DTH hammer can match COP 44 Gold's fuel efficiency and its low impact on the environment. Moreover, with the new TD40 12-spline bit shank and bit designs, such as the high performance ''Rocket bit'', the Secoroc COP 44 Gold is ready to take on any rock formation.
Longer service life
Secoroc COP Gold hammers are aimed at the production drilling market where efficiency, productivity, reliability and durability are essential. That's why they are maintenance-free and have a 10-15% longer service life than equivalent hammers. Moreover, instead of buying new hammers, you can rebuild your Secoroc COP Gold hammer (up to three times) by using the COP Gold E-kit and restore original performance for a fraction of the cost.

The COP Gold range of DTH hammer can now offer blast holes from 110mm up to 178mm (4 5/6¨ to 7¨) in diameter by matching your rock conditions with our comprehensive range of Secoroc DTH Premium bits.
