Kautex to exhibit new largest long stroke machine

Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH has designed and is building the largest long stroke machine of its type, a Model KLS14-100D. This dual-station machine will be producing sixteen 3-layer containers at 85 mm center distance in each station.
This machine allows not only high cavitation, but also ease of changeover to a different article. Kautex will also be taking interested visitors at NPE2009 to a local medical supplier that has harnessed a conventional shuttle Model KCC20D line into a 'lights out' production cell. Resin pellets are fed in one end and 100% fully leak tested, weighed and capped hospital urinal containers boxed up and palletized are discharged on the other end. With the cost of energy rising, Kautex has developed a line of energy efficient extrusion systems that can achieve 30% higher output with 30% less energy. Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH is one of the global leaders in extrusion blow molding technology and generates annual sales of 70 million Euros.
